Every section below is a draft, for counsel. Nothing here is final until counsel has read it; this is not legal advice.
In one paragraph · draft, for counsel
Paddle is the seller of record. Refunds follow Paddle's buyer terms and the law where you live; the fourteen-day trial is the way to try before you buy. Pixel Prompt is a one-time licence, $29 once, with no subscription, sold through Paddle (Paddle.com), the merchant of record. Your receipt and any taxes come from Paddle, and a refund request goes to Paddle, which decides it under its buyer terms and the law where you live. Before you buy, the trial gives you fourteen days with everything on, and you are told it is a trial on the first day and the last. After that the town stops until a licence, $29 once, starts it again.
1. Who sells the licence · draft, for counsel
Paddle (Paddle.com) is the seller of record for every Pixel Prompt purchase: it takes the payment, issues the receipt, adds and remits sales tax or VAT where required, and handles refund requests, under Paddle's buyer terms, which you accept at checkout. Hermiz Lc makes the software and issues the licence. [For counsel: Paddle's buyer terms name the Paddle entity that sells by the buyer's location; the exact name goes here.]
2. Try before you buy · draft, for counsel
The fourteen-day trial is the way to decide. It runs with everything on; the app says it is a trial on the first day and on the last. When the fourteen days end, the town stops until a licence starts it again, and your town folder stays exactly as it was. Real money needs a licence.
3. Why we ask you to use the trial first · draft, for counsel
A licence is a code, one per copy, pasted on the first screen. It is checked on your own machine, offline, and it never phones home. Once it is delivered we have no way to take it back or switch it off, so a refund leaves a working licence in place. That is why the trial comes first: fourteen days with everything on, before any money changes hands.
4. Asking for a refund · draft, for counsel
Refund requests go to Paddle, which decides them under its buyer terms and the law where you live. The quickest way is Paddle's buyer help (paddle.net), with the email you bought with or the order number from your receipt; the receipt carries a link to it. You can also write to support@hermiz.llc and we will pass the request to Paddle. [For counsel: whether Hermiz Lc sets a refund rule for the product in Paddle's dashboard, and what it says; this policy follows whatever that rule is.]
5. Your statutory rights · draft, for counsel
Nothing here limits rights you have under the law of your country or state that cannot be waived. [For counsel: buyers in the EU and the UK have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal for digital content, which can be lost when delivery starts immediately with the buyer's express consent and acknowledgement at checkout. Paddle's checkout collects that consent as the merchant of record; counsel confirms the wording shown to the buyer.]
6. Optional yearly updates · draft, for counsel
The yearly updates renewal is optional, a way to support the developer and receive a year of updates, and it is sold through Paddle like the licence. Not renewing changes nothing about the version you have: you keep it and every update you already received. [Whether the renewal repeats automatically, the reminder before it, and how to turn it off: to be confirmed; if it repeats, it is cancellable online before the renewal date.]
7. Billing errors · draft, for counsel
A charge that was a billing error or a duplicate charge is refunded. Tell Paddle or us and it is put right.
8. What we don't cover · draft, for counsel
Third-party costs you incur while running your Town, AI provider usage, market-data subscriptions, brokers, cloud servers, platform fees, are between you and those providers. The Kit is designed so those costs are optional and under your control; neither Paddle nor we can refund them.
9. Chargebacks · draft, for counsel
If you dispute a charge with your bank rather than asking Paddle or us, Paddle answers the dispute with the purchase record, including the trial and refund words shown before purchase. Please write first; it is faster for everyone.
